I recently accepted an assignment by one of my clients to research and find a solution for consumer/brand interaction through personal cell phones. This client wants to be able to allow people to vote by calling a number or sending a text message; much like the way American Idol contestants are chosen.
My research revealed a service offered though Cingular Wireless called Quickreach. Cingular and their technology partner, Air2Web, combine to enable companies to conduct mobile marketing campaigns using the phone’s SMS capabilities.
